Mono County Museum

The Mono County Museum is located on Emigrant Street behind the Memorial Hall in Bridgeport Park. The structure is the original Bridgeport schoolhouse, built in 1880. The museum holds many artifacts, including many native Paiute baskets. Research items such as local newspapers and assessors records dating back to 1862 are available upstairs. The museum is open 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. daily, June through the end of September. Admission: Adults: $1.50 Seniors: $1.00 Children 6-12 $.75 Children under 6 are free.
